Endoret Technology: Plasma Rich in Growth Factors (PRGF®)
PRGF is a natural treatment to relieve severe or chronic dry eye. The process involves drawing a blood sample from the patient, isolating the plasma enriched with growth factors, and applying this concentrate to the affected area, stimulating tissue repair and regeneration. This unique treatment helps reduce inflammation, regenerate ocular tissues, and improve tear quality, providing real comfort to those suffering from dry eye.
At the clinic, we offer Endoret® (PRGF®) technology. Upon recommendation from our specialists, it is possible to benefit from this innovative treatment. The eye drops are prepared directly by our partner laboratory.
In-Clinic Treatments: Eye-Light Technology
The Eye-Light treatment alleviates dry eye symptoms while reducing eyelid inflammation. In a few sessions, it also diminishes the appearance of chalazions and styes. This targeted approach directly addresses the underlying cause of dryness, particularly Meibomian gland dysfunction.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
Applied to the skin around the eyes to reduce eyelid inflammation. It is used to stimulate the Meibomian glands located in the eyelids, often dysfunctional in patients suffering from dry eye. It works by improving the quality of the tear film and reducing inflammation through its effect on blood vessels and inflammatory mediators. (Duration: 5 minutes)
Dynamic Thermal Treatment (LLLT)
Low-level light therapy uses red light to heat the eyelids, allowing the liquefaction of blocked secretions in the Meibomian glands. It also stimulates their activity while reducing eyelid inflammation. Through this targeted action, LLLT non-invasively and painlessly improves the quality of the tear film. (Duration: 12-15 minutes)
Eye-Light: A Comprehensive Solution for Dry Eye and Eyelid Inflammation
By combining IPL and LLLT, the Eye-Light protocol offers an advanced, quick, and painless solution to effectively treat dry eye.
